Our journey has been guided by a simple but powerful vision to prevent avoidable blindness and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to see and save live a better life.
Our hospital is more than a center for eye treatment. It is a place where compassionate patient care, clinical excellence, academic training, research and community eye health come together.

As we move forward our focus is on strengthening comprehensive eye care services, enhancing appropriate technology and digital innovation, developing skilled human resources and expanding our outreach activities to unreachable communities. We believed that collaboration with patients, health professionals, academic institutions, government, nationals and international partners is essential to achieving these goals.
As a result of the dedication of the team, helping hands, and trust of the community, the hospital is able to reduce the prevalence of blindness in this province from 1.02% in 1981 to 0.21% in 2021. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our nationals and international partners and volunteers. Without their support, we could not have achieved this success.
