Meetings, workshops and Events

VISITS AND WORKSHOPS

Each year, our Board members, hospital doctors, and staff members visit to participate in the workshops and meetings.  In the year 2074-75, following members participated in the following workshops and meetings:

1. Dr. Suresh Raj Pant and Dr. Anil Gurung Participated in the Asia- Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology ( APAO), Hongkong from 8th February to 11th February 2018.
2. Dr. Subash Bhatta participated in the Annual Conference of All India Ophthalmological    ( AIOC) from 22nd February to 25th February 2018.
3. Dr. Suresh Raj Pant, Dr. Samata Sharma, Dr. Samyek Shakya, Dr. Anish Manandhar, Mr. Ramesh Chandra Bhatta, Mr. Suresh Awasthi, and Ms. Sabitri Bhatta participated in the SAARC Academy of Ophthalmology, Kathmandu from 21st June to 24th June 2018.

MEETINGS, WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS AT GETA  EYE  HOSPITAL

1. Annual planning workshop was organized at Geta Eye Hospital on 18th July 2018 with financial support from SEVA foundation where staffs from  Geta eye hospital as well as Eye center in-charge from all eye centers running under Geta Eye Hospital have participated.
2. Refresher training for Ophthalmic Assistant was organized at Geta Eye Hospital from   7th October to 12th October 2018 with the financial support of SEVA foundation where Ophthalmic Assistant from all eye centers running under Geta Eye Hospital has participated.
3. World Sight Day celebration program was organized at Geta Eye Hospital on 11th October 2018 to create awareness against avoidable blindness, where Government officials, reporters, Members of NNJS Kailali, Lions’s Club members and all Geta Eye Hospital staff members have participated.
4. District Project Advisory Committee Meeting was organized at District Coordination Committee Dadeldhura on 15th March 2018, District Coordination Committee Baitadi on 16th March 2018 and District Coordination Committee Kailali on 18th March 2018 with the financial support of Fred Hollows Foundation.
