विश्व ग्लुकोमा जागरूकता सप्ताह / World Glaucoma Awareness Week
“भविष्य स्पष्ट रूपमा हेरौं” / “See the Future clearly”
विश्व ग्लुकोमा जागरूकता सप्ताहको अवसरमा आज गेटा आँखा अस्पतालमा एक जनचेतना कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरिएको छ। यस वर्षको विश्व ग्लुकोमा जागरूकता सप्ताह (९ – १५ मार्च)को मुख्य विषयवस्तु “भविष्य स्पष्ट रूपमा हेरौं” रहेको छ। ग्लुकोमा जागरूकता सप्ताह आजदेखि सुरु भएको छ र यसलाई यस सम्पूर्ण हप्ता विश्वभर तथा गेटा आँखा अस्पतालमा समेत मनाइनेछ।
यस सप्ताहभरि ग्लुकोमा दर्ता शुल्क (NPR 200) माफ गरिनेछ र ग्लुकोमा सेवा निःशुल्क प्रदान गरिनेछ ।
ग्लुकोमा विशेषज्ञ डा. स्मध अधिकारीले कार्यक्रमको संचालन तथा समन्वय गरेका थिए। कार्यक्रममा ५० भन्दा बढी ग्लुकोमा बिरामीहरूको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो।
गेटा आँखा अस्पतालका प्रमुख चिकित्सा निर्देशक डा. सुरेश राज पन्तले जनचेतनात्मक सम्बोधन गर्नुभयो, भने प्रमुख प्रशासक श्री दीर्घ बहादुर चन्दले कार्यक्रम सफलताको शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्नुभयो।

“See the Future clearly”
On the occasion of world glaucoma awareness week, awareness program was conducted at geta eye hospital today. Theme of this year’s world glaucoma awareness week is “See the Future clearly”. Glaucoma awareness week has started today and will be celebrated this whole week in the whole world and Geta Eye Hospital.
This whole week glaucoma registration of NPR 200 will be waived off to the patient and free glaucoma medications will be distributed.
Glaucoma Specialist Dr. Smadh Adhikari hosted and conducted the program. There were more than fifty Glaucoma patients present in the program.
The Chief Medical Director of The Geta Eye Hospital Dr. Suresh Raj Pant addressed the program with awareness speech and Chief administrator Mr. Deergh Bahadur Chand wishes for the success of the program.
